Project Anios
Anios Laboratories specialize in the design, manufacture and marketing of hygiene and disinfection products.
- The project -
- Fit out a 4,340 m2 cell in the warehouse to store 5,000 pallets of hygiene products prior to shipment.
- Consider a complementary solution to the facility's sprinkler system to contain smoke in the event of a fire starting in one of the cells.

Multiple services for a turnkey project
To meet Anios' requirements, we fitted out their warehouse with a 9.60 m high Propal 3 double-sided pallet racking system.
The entire installation is secured and sprinklered to guarantee the integrity of people and goods.

Limiting the risk of fire
- Given the nature of the highly flammable goods to be stored, the facility is equipped with sprinklers.
- Shelving levels are covered with grating panels and chipboard shelves to create 'hermetic' cells to contain fumes.
- Pallet stops allow forklift operators to center the pallet on the longitudinal members. They create a 150 mm gap between 2 shelves, designed toevacuate smoke in the event of fire and sprinkler activation.
Ensuring the safety of users and goods
- An anti-fall net also secures pedestrian walkways and protects employees.
- Safety wedges on each stringer guarantee the integrity of the structure.
- To prevent damage to the slab, steel and rubber protectors are clamped to the uprights. In the event of impact, they can be used as fuses and easily replaced.
- High-height wire mesh partitions secure and restrict access to certain bays where the most sensitive products are stored.
Facilitate truck loading and unloading operations
In order to optimize the logistics process, we created a simple temporary storage system with several locations. The capacity of each zone corresponds to that of a semi-trailer.
- For each order to be shipped, pallets are prepared and assembled in one of the zones, ready for loading.
- Each time a truck is unloaded, the pallets are temporarily stored in a cell until they can be put away in the warehouse.
Facilitate drum rotation
At Anios' request, our engineering department designed a customized solution for storing drums on rollers, enabling them to be effortlessly turned by a quarter turn, as often as required.
