Conveying parcels with a slide
Our industrial toboggan conveys your parcels (cartons, PVC/wood crates and even shrink-wrapped products) from a high level to the first floor. The inclination and gravity help the parcel to reach the lower level. Brakes control the descent of your products.
Our solution facilitates handling and greatly reduces the risk of RSI or back pain. It is tailor-made to adapt perfectly to your needs and site constraints (size and weight of products, height difference, etc.).
Technical details
- Packages handled by the solution: standard market formats weighing from 1kg to 20kg;
- Solution designed for platform heights ranging from 2350 to 4000 mm;
- The slide is made up of: a deposit platform, a descent chute and an arrival platform (elements in galvanized sheet metal with deburred edges). It is supported by a Prospace+ racking structure;
- Infeed guides to facilitate infeed and center packages at the start of the downfeed;
- Adjustable degressive slope to ensure that parcels end their run flat, preventing damage to the front and bottom edges of the parcel. Cushioned end stop;
- Possibility of installing an anti-turnover device for packages departing from very steep slopes;
- Rubber gaskets (EPDM quality) with cellular foam between all interlocking sheet-metal parts, to considerably reduce noise when the packages are lowered;
- Braking module equipped with 2 adjustable brakes preset in the workshop, according to package dimensions and weight.
