Project Cart for transporting very sharp printing blades

- The company -

A producer of flexible packaging for the food industry, whose plastic films are printed on site.

- The demand -

To optimize the printing quality of plastic films, the company uses very sharp blades to remove excess paint from the printing rollers. These blades, known as "doctor blades", are heavy, cumbersome and dangerous. They are cleaned between uses.

The project manager was looking for a solution to safely move these blades between the printing and cleaning stations.

- The Provost solution -

A wire-mesh cart adapted to the size of the doctor blades, ergonomic and safe.
