Types of parts and loads to be stored

In-store storage and presentation

If you're looking to display your spare parts in-store, you'll want to consider a gondola solution like the Promag 3, which allows you to showcase your products and the offers associated with them. In particular, Promag 3 shelves can be divided using dividers and bins specifically adapted to bulk parts.

Lightweight parts storage on Prospace +

Reserve storage

If you need to store your parts in a storeroom, workshop shelving will be specifically adapted to your needs.

For small, lightweight parts, Prospace+ is available in a wide range of sizes to suit your specific layout requirements. Also available with sheet metal or tubular shelves, Prospace+ shelving can support from 125 to 225 kg and from 50 kg to 250 kg per level respectively, depending on the length, height and depth of the shelving chosen. Prospace+ accessories also enable you to adapt your racking to the products stored, with, for example, solid or grid bottoms, doors and sides to secure your products, or dividers to best organize your different part numbers.

If the parts you store are heavier, Prorack+ shelving will enable you to store up to 400 kg per level, while retaining a high degree of modularity. Combined with a mezzanine platform for floor extension, Prospace+ and Prorack+ can also be used for high-bay storage with circulation aisles.

Environment and part rotation frequency

The layout and layout of your storeroom or workshop is also an important consideration when choosing your spare parts storage solution.

Whether you handle your products manually, with a forklift or motorized equipment, you'll need to define different aisles to suit your needs. You should also check that your floor is level, especially if your shelving is high and may need to be anchored to the ground.

To gain storage space, you can also opt for a multi-level solution, using a mezzanine platform or an aisle platform on shelving (as shown here), which will enable you to multiply your storage space without losing floor space.
