Multiple services for a turnkey project
To meet Anios' need to "store just over 5,000 pallets of hygiene products", we fitted out their 4,340 m² warehouse with a high-bay racking system (9m60) that takes advantage of the high ceilings.
This double-sided racking system with sprinkler integration, in view of the hygiene products stored, allows pallets to be gripped from either side of the structure.
"What made the difference on this project? Our ability to provide all the services required: pallet storage, securing areas with wire mesh partitions, fitting out temporary storage areas for loading and unloading trucks, and the specific design of a drum rack"
Benoit Terrier, Provost expert.
Finally, to optimize the logistics process, we created a simple temporary storage system with several locations.
The capacity of this area corresponds to that of a semi-trailer.

A completely secure installation
Safety wedges on each longitudinal beam guarantee the integrity of the structure.
A wire mesh partition has been added over the entire height of the rack (9.6m), in certain areas, to secure certain products by creating bays that are not accessible.
A- An anti-fall net also secures pedestrian aisles and protects employees.
B- Pallet stops allow forklift operators to center the pallet on the side rails. This creates an empty space of 150 mm between 2 racks, designed for smoke evacuation in the event of fire and sprinkler activation.
C- To prevent damage to the slab, steel and rubber protectors have been clamped to the uprights. They can be easily replaced, but also act as a fuse in the event of impact.

From design to solution for specific needs
With its highly flammable hygiene products, Anios required, in addition to sprinkler equipment, a solution to contain smoke in the event of a fire breaking out in a cell.
To meet this requirement, we used a grating and chipboard covering to create "hermetic" cells.
Finally, Anios also stores drums that need to be regularly turned by a quarter-turn.
We therefore created a specific support that enables the drum to be effortlessly turned thanks to a system of rollers.
